2010 – Clinical validation of tryptic digestion proteomics protocols for apolipoproteins in the clinical laboratory

Standardization of tryptic digestion protocols on blood plasma works well for high abundance apolipoproteins, but different surfactants and the time allowed for digestion is somewhat a multifactorial problem with different optimum conditions for the proteins. We figured out the conditions necessary for apolipoprotein A-I and B.
