2013 – Preparatory methodology for mouse heart tissue

Sometimes during scientific investigations I come across problems that would seem should have been solved a long time ago. Due to the ever increasing sensitivity of new instrumentation and the increasing comprehensiveness of chemical detection platforms, simple things like how much heart tissue to solvent volume to use during extraction take a new more detailed and thorough look than what has come before.
